  Went to the farm last week - booked a milking experience and what an experience! Would definitely recommend for both adults and children, John the farmer was so informative and... read more his love of the farm and his animals was evident. Got to help bring in the beautiful jersey cows from out grazing with their calves, see them be milked whilst having the anatomy explained and finally understand the term “chewing the cud”! Then through to the funny and mischievous goats to help milk - including by hand. John was great with the kids and very patient. All finished off with some delicious goats milk ice cream!

My 6 year old daughter has ‘ had the BEST DAY EVER’ it genuinely is the best money we’ve ever spent. She wants to be a farmer when she grows up so we bought her this experience for her birthday in January and traveled down in August. Boy did she get an experience!!! 6.30am start milking, feeding kids, mucking out she even got to witness a calf being born!!! Finished off with ice cream at 6pm which is made fresh on site!

Breakfast and lunch were provided and absolutely excellent, we felt so welcome and at ease.

I honestly can’t say when I’ve enjoyed a day more and we can’t thank you enough. I’m sure we’ll be back to visit in the future, my daughter wanted to stay forever!!
